Finance & Accounting function at Berkadia
, supporting critical operations such as reviewing and approving supplier invoices and employee travel & expense reports in
Workday Financials
, along with managing
Treasury operations
and
Mortgage banking activities
for Berkadia's U.S. offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver process-specific outputs, ensuring achievement of team performance targets.
- Maintain high-quality standards in all deliverables, aligned with process and customer requirements.
- Adhere to learning curve timelines and acquire necessary process knowledge.
- Complete all mandatory process trainings within stipulated timeframes.
- Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications (Selection Criteria)
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Postgraduate degree in Finance (MBA) preferred

Functional Skills
- Review and approve supplier invoice payment requests submitted in Workday, ensuring timely processing of high-volume transactions.
- Conduct prepayment audits of employee Travel & Expense reports in Workday for reimbursement accuracy.
- Verify that supplier invoices and expense reports are correctly coded to appropriate GL accounts, cost centers, and project codes.
- Ensure all submissions comply with Corporate Treasury policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Review transactions on the TD Bank platform and authorize treasury wire transfers.
- Demonstrate foundational proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic spreadsheet formatting, controls, mathematical functions, and navigation between different views.
- Draft simple business correspondence, summarize information clearly, and adhere to established formats.
- Exhibit a basic understanding of spoken English, capable of effective communication in routine situations and expressing essential needs.
- Adapt to changing priorities and demonstrate flexibility in handling multiple tasks and shifting deadlines.
- Quickly learn new processes and adjust to evolving business requirements while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
