Job Description

As a Collections Specialist at Rocket Software, your primary responsibility will be to initiate the collections process through collections workflows. This will involve combining direct collection efforts via phone and email to the Client. You must document actions and touch points for aged transactions and meet target goals for receivable funds. It is essential for you to identify Client issues early and escalate them to management and sales. Additionally, you will be preparing credit memos with accurate coding based on the nature of the credit and providing reports to management and Sales on all balances greater than $10K that are 60 days or more delinquent at agreed frequencies. Meeting and exceeding individual monthly and quarterly targets for the assigned region/portfolio will be crucial. You should also demonstrate the ability to present updates to both internal and external stakeholders as needed. Furthermore, you may need to provide support for any other ad-hoc projects or assignments as required. Key Responsibilities: - Initiate the collections process through collections workflows - Combine direct collection efforts via phone and email to the Client - Document actions and touch points for aged transactions - Identify Client issues early and escalate to management and sales - Prepare credit memos with accurate coding based on the nature of the credit - Provide reports to management and Sales on balances >$10K 60 days + delinquent - Meet and exceed individual monthly and quarterly targets for assigned region/portfolio - Present updates to internal and external stakeholders as needed - Support any other ad-hoc projects/assignments as required Qualifications Required: - M.Com/MBA - 7+ years of experience in Collections in a global environment - Bachelor of Commerce (B.com) - Preferred qualifications include knowledge of German, French, or any other European language, advanced Excel knowledge, and experience in complex transitions in the AR domain Rocket Software is committed to information security, diversity, inclusion, and equity.
