Senior Accounts Officer

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an Account Officer to join our Finance Department at our Ahmedabad office. Key Responsibilities:

• Recording accounting invoices using TechOne software and processing payments.
• Managing the RTOM student database.
• Handling Accounts Payable & Receivables for various universities.
• Overseeing student invoicing, receivables, receipt recording, and allocation.
• Managing student fee collection through multiple channels such as bank deposits, Ezypay, PayWay, NexPay, ensuring accurate allocation in RTOM.
• Administering student refunds and managing the student refund portal.
• Preparing payment summaries and processing invoices from agents and suppliers.
• Responding to agents via email and managing agent-related transactions, including sending Statements of Account and commission clarifications.
• Managing the commission payment calendar.
• Processing and uploading payments for agents and non-agent vendors (suppliers).
• Preparing weekly bank reconciliations for all college bank accounts.
• Recording and reconciling employee credit card bills.
• Generating MIS reports for receipts, commissions, and other payments for higher authorities.
• Supporting documentation of all college finance processes.
• Assisting management in finalizing various elements of the balance sheet and profit & loss statements.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Strong knowledge of financial accounting and components of financial statements to aid finalization.
• Practical experience with TechOne, Xero, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, and RTOM (Meshed Software); candidates with TechOne expertise will be prioritized.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and timely task completion.
• Excellent analytical and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience working in high-volume transaction environments.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multifunctional teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
