Senior Accounts Executive

Job Title: Senior Accounts Executive Location: Chennai Industry: Manufacturing Experience: 2–4 years Qualification: Inter-qualified CA or CMA Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be an inter-qualified CA or CMA with 2–4 years of hands-on experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector. Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Bookkeeping (Tally Prime): Independently handle day-to-day accounting operations in Tally Prime. Record and reconcile transactions including: o Purchases & Sales o Journal Entries o Payments & Receipts o Credit & Debit Notes Manage inventory and job work entries accurately. Taxation & Compliance: Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.). Calculate and ensure timely filing of TDS returns. Assist in preparing documents and supporting statutory audits. Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Coordination & Communication: Liaise with internal departments for transaction data and clarifications. Collaborate with statutory auditors and tax consultants for compliance and audit requirements. Candidate Profile: Inter-qualified CA or CMA. 2–4 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime, especially in a manufacturing setup. Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance. Strong communication and coordination skills.
