Senior Accountant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with 3–4 years of proven expertise in the hotel industry. The role involves managing the complete accounting cycle, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting management with financial planning and analysis to drive profitability and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L accounts.
• Monitor revenue from rooms, F&B, banquets, and other hotel operations; ensure proper posting and reconciliations.
• Manage payroll processing, staff advances, and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, GST, etc.).
• Conduct monthly and yearly closing of accounts and prepare reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, GST filings, and other statutory requirements.
• Assist in internal and external audits, and provide necessary documentation.
• Monitor expenses, control costs, and recommend areas for improvement in financial efficiency.
• Liaise with vendors, banks, and financial institutions as required.
• Train and supervise junior accounting staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–4 years of accounting experience in the hotel/hospitality sector (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of hotel accounting systems, revenue audits, and hospitality-related compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and hotel ERP/accounting software (such as IDS, Opera, Tally, or similar).
• Solid understanding of GST, TDS, and other Indian taxation norms.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
