Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant at our company, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing the Accounts Department. Your attention to detail and experience in the field will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the Accounts Department team, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring timely completion. - Prepare, review, and file GST returns, maintaining compliance with tax regulations. - Monitor cash flow, reconcile bank statements, and uphold financial accuracy. - Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. - Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and conducting variance analysis. - Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping of financial transactions. - Provide guidance and support to junior accountants, ensuring adherence to accounting standards. - Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and internal departments for seamless operations. - Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations. - Exposure to cost accounting, inventory valuation, and production-related accounting will be advantageous. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors/Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Minimum 5-6 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role. - Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/ERP or similar) and MS Office (Excel). - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Ability to lead a team and work effectively under deadlines. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Experience in the electronics manufacturing industry will be beneficial, but not mandatory.
