Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Identify trends, variances, and provide insights to management.
• General Ledger & Reconciliations
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Review journal entries and adjustments.
• Month-End and Year-End Close
• Lead the month-end and year-end close process.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate closures.
• Audit & Compliance
• Support internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Assist in the preparation and review of budgets.
• Analyze budget-to-actual variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Tax & Regulatory Filings
• Prepare or assist with tax filings (corporate, GST, etc.).
• Liaise with tax advisors or authorities when necessary.
• Team Leadership & Mentoring
• Supervise junior accountants or accounting assistants.
• Review their work and provide guidance and training.
• Process Improvement
• Recommend and implement improvements to accounting processes and systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Accounting: 5 years (Preferred)
• total work: 1 year (Preferred)
• A/R Analysis: 1 year (Preferred)
