Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant at our organization, your role will involve managing all accounting functions, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting the finance team with accurate reporting and analysis. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and post month-end journal entries, bank reconciliations, and ledger closings. - Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns. - Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for management review. - Maintain the fixed-asset register and conduct periodic physical verification. - Supervise junior staff, provide training, and enforce internal controls. - Liaise with auditors and tax authorities as required. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting; CA/CS (intermediate) is a plus. - Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role. - Proficiency in Tally/ERP (SAP, Odoo) and advanced MS Excel. - Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, GST, and company law. In this role, you will need to have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, an analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability, as well as effective communication and leadership skills.
