Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, your role involves managing overall accounting operations, compliance, and financial reporting. You should have expertise in Tally, GST, TDS, reconciliation, and end-to-end accounts management. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Overseeing and managing the complete accounting process. - Supervising billing activities and supporting junior accountants when required. - Maintaining accurate books of accounts using Tally ERP. - Performing and reviewing bank reconciliations. - Handling GST filings, GST adjustments, and ensuring timely return submissions. - Managing TDS calculations, deductions, and return filings. - Preparing financial statements such as Profit & Loss accounts and Balance Sheets. - Coordinating with auditors to ensure compliance with accounting and statutory standards. - Maintaining proper financial documentation and ensuring timely completion of tasks. - Identifying process improvements and strengthening internal financial controls. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting. - Strong proficiency in Tally ERP, GST, TDS, tax filing, and reconciliation. - Sound understanding of accounting standards and compliance. - Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and documentation abilities.
