Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant who can independently manage all accounting and statutory compliance functions of the organization. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax, preparation of Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and end-to-end accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including day-to-day bookkeeping and finalization of accounts
• Prepare and finalize Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements
• Handle GST compliance: return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.), reconciliation, and assessments
• Manage TDS compliance: calculation, deduction, deposit, return filing, and Form 16/16A
• Handle Income Tax matters: computation, advance tax, return filing, and coordination with auditors/consultants
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities
• Ensure compliance with statutory laws and accounting standards
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and internal reviews
• Provide financial reports and insights to management for decision-making

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com / CA-Inter / CMA-Inter preferred
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances
• Hands-on experience in finalization of accounts
• Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems and MS Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and handle complete accounting responsibilities
• Good communication and coordination skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
