Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management and accounting practices, with proficiency in various accounting software. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards while also providing mentorship to junior staff.

Duties

• Prepare and maintain financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice verification and payment processing.
• Oversee financial accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance and reconciliations.
• Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft for efficient financial management.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
• Mentor junior accountants, providing guidance on best practices in financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial forecasting and budgeting.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ACA) is preferred.
• Proven experience in financial services or a similar role within an accounting environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft is essential.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to mentor others effectively.

Pay: ₹24,142.65 - ₹55,730.63 per year
