Compliance: Ensuring compliance with accounting principles (GAAP), tax regulations, and company policies. Audits and Taxes: Assisting with both internal and external audits, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with tax laws. Supervision and Mentorship: Overseeing the work of junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support, and potentially delegating tasks. Process Improvement: Identifying areas where accounting processes can be improved and recommending solutions. Financial Planning and Analysis: Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicating financial information to various stakeholders, including management, and collaborating with other departments.
