About the Company

CPR Chicken Traders LLP is a fast-growing poultry trading and retail company operating stalls across Kerala. We manage daily chicken and egg sales, transport, farm supply, and retail operations. Our office at Puthiyangadi, Kozhikode is setting up a dedicated accounts section — and we’re hiring our first full-time Accountant to build and manage our accounts system from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily stall sales, purchases, and expenses.
• Maintain and reconcile cash, bank (HDFC, Axis, etc.), and UPI transactions.
• Prepare daily/weekly profit & loss and balance summaries.
• Verify supplier bills (farm, diesel, transport, salary, etc.).
• Maintain vouchers, invoices, and receipts properly.
• Support GST filing and coordination with CA office.
• Create reports and maintain books in Excel, Tally, or Zoho Books.
• Manage petty cash and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Coordinate with management for financial planning and reporting.

Requirements

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience (trading, retail, or poultry preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Excel and accounting software.
• Basic understanding of GST, reconciliation, and ledgers.
• Honest, disciplined, and organized in record-keeping.
• Comfortable working independently in a developing office setup.
