Role Description

This is a contract, on-site role for a Senior Accountant based in Mumbai. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing and analyzing financial statements, overseeing accounts payable/receivable, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, and generating financial reports. Additionally, the individual will assist in budget preparation, perform cost analysis, and collaborate with internal teams to improve financial operations. The role also includes ensuring compliance with local regulatory and tax requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial reporting, budget preparation, and general ledger accounting
• Strong knowledge of taxation, compliance, and regulatory standards
• Skills in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cost analysis
• Proficiency in accounting software and related tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA is preferred
• Experience in the jewelry or manufacturing industry is a plus
