Senior Accountant executive

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, including invoicing, payments, payroll, statutory filings, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Tally ERP 9, along with excellent organizational skills and knowledge of compliance requirements such as GST, TDS, and ROC filings.Key Responsibilities:Maintain daily bookkeeping of all receivables and payables in Tally ERP 9.Generate and send student payment invoices; ensure timely follow-up on outstanding balances.Manage and process monthly salary sheets and release payments.Handle GST filings quarterly, along with ITR, ROC, TDS, and other statutory compliances.Coordinate with counselors regarding discount approvals and pending student payments.Follow up with universities for commissions and maintain proper documentation.Manage and update university agreements for both new and renewal proposals.Visit external offices like banks, GST offices, and auditors as required.Track cash flow, maintain payroll records, and prepare regular financial reports.Required Skills & Competencies:Technical Skills:Proficiency in Tally ERP 9Knowledge of GST, TDS, ROC, and other statutory complianceInvoice generation, payroll processing, and financial report preparationStrong understanding of ledger identification and journal entriesSoft Skills:Fluency in English, Telugu, and HindiHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProactive and self-motivated approach to workBehavioral Attributes:Responsible and accountable in handling financial mattersInnovative in solving financial discrepanciesConsistent in updating and maintaining accurate recordsStrong team collaboration and ability to take initiativePerformance Metrics:Timely generation and follow-up on invoicesDaily bookkeeping accuracy and Tally updatesOn-time filing of all tax and regulatory documentsEfficient coordination with internal and external stakeholders
