We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join the passionate Codingal team. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Reporting Maintain accurate financial records using Zoho Books and QuickBooks Ensure monthly and yearly book closure Prepare and review financial statements – Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow Manage inter-company transactions between Indian and US entities Compliance & Taxation Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, PT, and PF Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) and TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, 27Q) Support income tax return filing and compliance under Indian tax laws Accounts Payable Process vendor invoices, manage vendor payments, and maintain AP aging report Reconcile customer payments and refunds in the accounting system Banking & Treasury Management Perform daily bank reconciliations and cash flow reporting Manage payments processing with appropriate statutory deductions Audit & Financial Controls Maintain internal financial controls and documentation Key Skills Required Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian compliance regulations Proficiency in Zoho Books and QuickBooks Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes Excellent reconciliation skills (Bank, Vendor, Customer) Understanding of US-India intercompany accounting Experience working with external auditors and tax consultants Perks Free Lunch & Dinner Exposure to a fast-paced Ed-Tech startup.
