Senior Accountant (Coal Trading)

About the Company:

We are a leading coal trading firm engaged in the procurement, distribution, and trading of coal and related commodities. Our focus is on delivering high-quality products and efficient services to our clients across industries. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage our financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
• Maintain and reconcile books of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and balance sheets for management review.
• Oversee taxation processes, including GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• Manage bank reconciliations, fund flows, and cash flow statements.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors for smooth financial audits.
• Monitor outstanding payments and ensure timely follow-up with clients and vendors.
• Develop cost-effective accounting systems and maintain accurate financial records.
• Provide strategic inputs for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with all accounting principles, company policies, and statutory regulations.

Key Requirements:

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA in Finance or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in coal trading, commodity trading, or manufacturing industries.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP, GST, TDS, and MS Excel.
• Hands-on experience in preparing P&L statements, balance sheets, and tax returns.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and team management abilities.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
