You will be based in Hyderabad and report to the Controllership SSC leader in the worldwide Controller Organization. As a hands-on leader, you will manage a cluster of accounting processes and be part of a team of professionals in a fast-paced environment. Your role at Salesforce will involve leading people, implementing process/system improvements, ensuring SOX compliance, and preparing schedules to support financial reviews and reporting processes. Responsibilities: - Demonstrate strong leadership in enhancing processes through innovation and supporting business partners - Validate transaction flow, review account reconciliations, and conduct fluctuation analysis for Comp & Benefit and Commission processes during month-end close - Execute monthly accounting close procedures primarily for Salesforces earned commissions in the Americas - Prepare monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting - Ensure compliance with commissions accounting standards under ASC 340-40 - Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures - Support internal and external audit teams by providing necessary documentation and process overviews - Identify and implement initiatives to automate revenue accounting processes - Prepare schedules for monthly reviews, audits, and reporting processes - Monitor compliance with accounting instructions and financial policies - Drive special projects to completion Required Skills/Experience: - 8+ years of relevant accounting experience with attention to detail, deadline orientation, and ability to work in a team - Experience in SOX control documentation and execution - Proficiency in multitasking, independence, and international statutory reporting/compliance processes - Understanding of ERP systems like Oracle, Workday Financials, Netsuite, etc. - Knowledge of tools such as Blackline, eGRC360, Tableau, Hyperion, Microsoft Excel, etc. - Strong organizational and communication skills - Passion for process improvement and automation - Willingness to adapt to a challenging and evolving environment - Self-motivated with the ability to respond quickly to requests (Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.)
