Senior Accountant

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports like balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.
• Check the company’s financial health by doing financial analysis and suggest solutions if problems are found.
• Make sure all financial reports are submitted on time and are accurate as per company rules and government laws.
• Oversee the company’s accounts to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly and follow accounting standards.
• Handle daily accounting tasks like payments, collections, payroll, and bank/credit card reconciliations.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
• Work with senior management to prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Compare actual results with the budget, prepare variance reports, and highlight key differences.
• Give advice on how to reduce costs and increase revenue.
• Ensure proper tax compliance and manage all tax filings (like TDS, corporate tax, etc.).
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits and make sure reports are in line with audit standards.
• Maintain accounting records and ensure compliance with all government financial regulations.
• Supervise, train, and guide the accounting team to improve productivity and skills.
• Assign work to team members and make sure deadlines are met.
• Conduct performance reviews for team members.
• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure enough funds are available for operations.
• Improve cash management by planning, controlling working capital, and using excess cash wisely.
• Create and monitor strong internal controls to prevent mistakes, fraud, or false reporting.
• Suggest and implement better processes for accounting and financial reporting systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
