Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager – Accounts will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance activities of the company. The role requires strong expertise in GST, TDS, financial management, and team leadership, particularly in a manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage day-to-day accounting operations.
• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax returns, and other statutory compliances.
• Monitor accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
• Manage audits (internal, statutory, and tax) and coordinate with auditors.
• Handle cost accounting and inventory valuation for manufacturing activities.
• Review and control budgets, cash flow, and financial forecasts.
• Develop and implement financial policies, systems, and controls.
• Guide and support the accounting team (executives and junior staff).
• Liaise with banks, vendors, and government authorities when required.

Requirements:

• Qualification: B.Com / M.Com
• Experience: Minimum 4–5years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Industry: Preferably from manufacturing / industrial background.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• Proficiency in Tally / ERP software.
• Excellent analytical and leadership skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
