Accountabilities
As a SEM Specialist, you will:
- Set up, manage, and optimize paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Bing Ads
- Collaborate with the paid search team to design strategies that boost growth and conversions
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze metrics, and apply data-driven optimizations
- Conduct competitor research to uncover trends and enhance campaign effectiveness
- Provide insights and recommendations to the Paid Search Manager to improve performance
- Ensure all campaigns align with KPIs including CTR, CPC, conversion rates, and ROI
- Handle multiple campaigns simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should bring:
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience managing paid search campaigns
- Strong expertise in PPC strategies, including bidding, keyword targeting, ad copy optimization, and landing page testing
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Bing Ads, and familiarity with tools such as SEMrush and Google Analytics
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work in Excel (pivot tables, large dataset analysis, actionable insights)
- Proven ability to manage accounts of varying scale and budget while maximizing ROI
- Knowledge of automated bidding strategies (Target CPA, Target ROAS, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams
- A proactive and self-motivated mindset, with genuine enthusiasm for search marketing
