Security Training officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive security training officer for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security practices and procedures, as well as experience in developing and delivering effective training materials.

Responsibilities
  • Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security training programs for Security Personnels at all levels of the organization.
  • Identify security training needs through assessments and analysis of organizational vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content.
  • Design and develop engaging training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, and hands-on exercises.
  • Deliver training sessions in person or virtually to individuals and groups.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback mechanisms.
  • Continuously update and improve training materials and programs to address emerging security threats and challenges.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security best practices, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure alignment of security training with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Developing training curriculum: Designing and implementing security training programs based on organizational needs and industry best practices.
  • Assessing training needs: Identifying gaps in security knowledge and skills within the organization and creating targeted training initiatives to address them.
  • Creating training materials: Developing educational materials such as presentations, videos, manuals, and online courses to deliver security training content effectively.
  • Delivering training sessions: Conducting in-person or virtual training sessions for employees, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders to educate them on security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Evaluating training effectiveness: Measuring the impact of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms to ensure learning objectives are met and make adjustments as needed.
  • Staying current: Keeping abreast of the latest security threats, technologies, and regulations to continuously update and improve training content.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with other departments, such as IT, HR, and compliance, to ensure alignment of security training efforts with overall organizational objectives and requirements.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training.
  • Compliance: Ensuring that security training programs comply with relevant regulations, standards, and industry guidelines.
  • All other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as cybersecurity, information technology, or a related discipline. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security+) preferred. Proven experience in developing and delivering security training programs in a corporate or organizational setting. In-depth knowledge of security principles, practices, and Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other training delivery platforms.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and interpersonal.
  • Willingness to work in night shifts supporting US time.
  • Good knowledge in preparing Training PPT, SOP, Policies.
