Security Officer (Preferably Ex-Serviceman) - F&B Industry (Bangalore)

Organization: The Organisation Harley’s Fine Baking (https://www.harleys.com/), is a European style patisserie (premium cake selling company) created by an IIM professor to disrupt the cake and coffee market, established to spread bonafide taste of the streets of Manhattan across the world. Brought into the world from a love for baking, the desire to create a meeting place that serves delicious food with a warm rustic environment. The Organization offers a full scope of Breads, morning merchandise, cakes, baked and savoury goods. Currently the team size is of about 200 people with more than 15 outlets across Hyderabad, along with a plan of opening 100 new outlets across Mumbai, Goa, Vijayawada, Bangalore, Chennai scaling up to 1000 people over the next year.

Designation: Security Officer (Preferably Ex-Serviceman)

Qualification: Minimum: 12th Pass / Graduate preferred. Ex-Servicemen from Army/Navy/Air Force/Paramilitary forces highly desirable.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Security & Fire Safety Training Certification
• First Aid & Emergency Response Certification
• Basic Computer Literacy (advantageous)

Experience: Minimum 3+ years in industrial, warehouse, retail or corporate security operations (FMCG / F&B environment preferred)

Salary: Upto 60K per month (Negotiable)

Job Profile: The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Harley’s Fine Baking premises, assets, employees, and visitors. This role involves monitoring entry/exit points, supervising security staff, handling emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement, and maintaining strict discipline and vigilance across the facility. The position demands integrity, alertness, and a proactive approach to prevent risks and maintain a safe working environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to premises (staff, vendors, and visitors).
• Conduct regular security patrols across warehouse, production, and retail outlets.
• Supervise and train security guards deployed at various locations.
• Ensure CCTV monitoring and maintain security logs/reports.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.
• Implement fire safety, emergency evacuation, and disaster preparedness protocols.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required.
• Prevent theft, pilferage, and unauthorized access.
• Ensure adherence to company security policies and compliance with statutory norms.
• Maintain discipline, orderliness, and professional decorum across the premises.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of security and safety protocols.
• Ability to handle emergency situations effectively.
• Experience with CCTV monitoring, access control systems, and visitor management.
• Leadership and team supervision skills.
• Excellent vigilance, observation, and reporting abilities.
• Good communication skills (oral and written).
