CTC: ₹50,000 – ₹60,000 per month

Job Purpose

Ensure statutory compliance and safe operations at the rubber and chemical manufacturing plant by preventing accidents, managing risks, and promoting a strong safety culture in line with legal and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Factories Act, Maharashtra Factories Rules, MSIHC Rules, Hazardous Waste Rules, MPCB & Fire norms

• Handle inspections and liaison with Factory Inspectorate, MPCB, Fire Dept.

• Identify and control risks in rubber processing (mixing, extrusion, vulcanization) and chemical handling

• Conduct HIRA/JSA, safety audits, and daily shopfloor safety rounds

• Implement PPE usage, LOTO, machine guarding, and permit-to-work systems

• Manage chemical storage, MSDS, spill control, and emergency showers

• Conduct safety induction, trainings, toolbox talks, and mock drills

• Investigate incidents, near misses, and implement CAPA

• Maintain safety records, statutory registers, and monthly MIS

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Science

• Diploma in Industrial Safety (DIS) – Maharashtra Govt recognized (mandatory)

• 3–7 years experience in manufacturing, preferably rubber or chemical industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,716.60 - ₹50,143.68 per month
