Job Description

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

1. New Product Design

  • Review new product designs for feasibility and performance.
  • Create and review Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
  • Apply Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) principles.

2. RFQ (Request for Quotation) Management

  • Provide necessary data for quote preparation.
  • Conduct design feasibility studies considering all Customer Specific Requirements (CSR).

3. Plant Support

  • Collaborate with plant teams to capture requirements.
  • Drive improvements in existing products.
  • Review and approve supplier drawings.

4. Departmental Continual Improvement

  • Develop automation tools and calculation templates.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines across various initiatives.

5. BOB (Bill of Build) Activities

  • Review and approve BOB products.
  • Facilitate SAP code creation for new products.

6. Team Management & Development

  • Develop capabilities of team members through training and mentoring.
  • Allocate tasks and review progress.
  • Identify skill gaps and ensure execution of development plans.
  • Create and deploy e-learning modules.
  • Motivate and support the team to achieve goals.

7. Customer Audit Support

  • Ensure adherence to procedures, SOPs, and SOIs.
  • Provide audit support to Cross-Functional Teams (CFT).
  • Prepare and manage documentation for audits.
