Job Purpose/ Summary

The role involves leading efforts to safeguard company brands against counterfeit products and brand violations through both online and offline monitoring. The incumbent will work closely with internal teams, external agencies, and law enforcement to identify, investigate, and enforce anti-counterfeit measures while building awareness and preventive mechanisms

Job Title

Section Head-Anti Counterfeit-GF Conduct online and offline monitoring for counterfeit and brand violations. Identify and track counterfeit products of company brands across physical and online markets. Conduct market visits, mystery shopping, and field surveillance to detect misuse and unauthorized sales. Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturing teams to verify suspected counterfeits. Investigate suspected infringements and gather evidence for enforcement actions. Plan and execute raids and other remedial measures in coordination with law enforcement agencies. Conduct market research to identify counterfeit trends, monitor marketplaces, and investigate potential violations. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement product authentication and verification technologies. Work with law enforcement and regulatory bodies to investigate and prosecute counterfeiters. Manage relationships with external anti-counterfeit service providers and vendors. Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams, external partners, and consumers on anti-counterfeit measures and product authentication. Respond to consumer and dealer complaints/notices related to counterfeit products. Prepare and share monthly updates and MIS reports with management on anti-counterfeit activities and outcomes.

Principal Accountabilities

Strong knowledge of intellectual property rights and brand protection. Expertise in market surveillance, investigation, and evidence gathering. Ability to develop and implement anti-counterfeit strategies and technologies. Collaboration with internal teams, enforcement, and regulatory bodies. Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills. High integrity, sound judgment, and result-oriented approach.
