As an SEO Specialist at Manorama Online, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the digital presence of all Malayala Manorama platforms, including web, mobile, and apps. Your expertise in SEO will be instrumental in driving real results by collaborating with content creators, marketers, and developers. More than just focusing on keywords, you will strategize, execute, and measure the impact of your efforts. Your key responsibilities will include analyzing and enhancing all digital properties for better search engine performance, implementing and testing SEO strategies to increase traffic and improve page rankings, working closely with editorial teams to develop SEO-friendly content, and monitoring performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc. It will be essential for you to stay updated on Google algorithm changes, Core Web Vitals, and SEO trends, conduct regular site audits, and suggest impactful SEO enhancements while aligning your SEO efforts with broader content and social media strategies. To excel in this role, you should have proven SEO experience, preferably in the news/media domains, expertise in both technical SEO and content optimization, proficiency in keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO, and familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs and Semrush. Excellent communication skills in Malayalam and English, experience in team collaboration, and stakeholder communication will be key assets for success. This position is based in Kottayam, onsite at the Manorama Online office.
