As we expand our digital footprint, we’re looking for a detail-oriented SEO Executive to help increase our organic visibility, boost traffic, and improve rankings for our digital magazine content.


Job Summary


As a Digital Marketing Executive – SEO, you will play a key role in optimizing our magazine websites and online content to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic. You’ll work closely with editorial, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are consistently implemented across all digital assets.


Key Responsibilities


Conduct keyword research and identify content opportunities aligned with editorial goals and audience interests.


Optimize existing and new content for on-page SEO (meta tags, headlines, image alt text, internal linking, etc.).


Collaborate with editorial teams to integrate SEO into content planning and publishing workflows.


Perform regular site audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues (crawl errors, broken links, slow loading pages, etc.).


Monitor website performance using tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.


Develop backlink strategies to improve domain authority and search rankings.


Stay updated on Google algorithm updates and SEO best practices, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.


Assist in reporting on SEO performance and contribute insights for monthly/quarterly digital reports.


Work with developers to implement structured data, improve mobile usability, and enhance site architecture for SEO.


Coordinate with the social media and paid marketing teams to ensure cohesive digital strategies.


Requirements


Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.


2–4 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in publishing, media, or content-heavy environments.


Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.


Proficient with SEO tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or Moz.


Knowledge of HTML, schema markup, and basic web development principles is a plus.


Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress or custom CMS).


Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.


Familiarity with E-E-A-T, Core Web Vitals, and current SEO trends.
