Scrum Master

The ideal candidate for this role should be a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or hold an equivalent certification. You should have experience in managing software development teams or IT projects. Your main responsibilities will include guiding the team on agile principles and the Scrum framework. You will be responsible for organizing and facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. You will need to remove impediments and ensure that the team has everything necessary to deliver sprint goals. Additionally, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team is crucial. Collaborating closely with the Product Owner to ensure the product backlog is well groomed and prioritized will be part of your role. You should also ensure transparent communication between the development team and stakeholders. Tracking team progress using agile tools such as JIRA or Trello and providing regular updates and reports on sprint progress, velocity, and performance metrics is essential. Coaching the team on agile best practices to enhance their performance and delivery will also be a key responsibility. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. You must have at least 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a related role, along with strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with Agile tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Confluence, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, are required.
