Location:

Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kerala

Working Days:

5.5 Days a Week (1st and 3rd Saturday Working)

Role Overview:

Scientific Business Manager / Area Business Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell company

    EMG Biofeedback Device and services

    within the assigned geographic area or customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Build and strengthen

    long-term relationships

    with key stakeholders, including

    neurologists, physiatrists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation centers, and distributors

    .
  • Identify and pursue leads, assess customer needs, and deliver

    effective product solutions

    that maximize both clinical and business outcomes.
  • Drive

    clinical education, training programs, and workshops

    for healthcare providers to ensure effective adoption
  • Conduct

    market research

    and analyze trends in the

    neurorehabilitation and physiotherapy markets

    to identify new business opportunities.
  • Implement and refine

    sales and market development strategies

    aligned with company objectives.
  • Collect and relay

    customer feedback

    regarding product performance and clinical outcomes to internal teams (R&D, Clinical Affairs, Operations, Marketing).
  • Organize and execute

    on-ground clinical programs, product demos, and awareness initiatives

    to enhance market engagement.
  • Support

    distributor management

    through training, motivation, and performance reviews to ensure alignment with company goals.

Role Characteristics:

Autonomy:

  • Independent field sales professional managing small to mid-sized accounts and distributor networks.
  • Handles multiple hospitals, clinics, and rehab centers within territory.
  • Works with general supervision while driving results independently.

Organizational Impact:

  • Responsible for achieving individual and regional sales targets.
  • Directly contributes to overall

    revenue growth and market expansion

  • Provides market insights and recommendations to enhance sales strategy.

Innovation & Complexity:

  • Identifies and executes

    tactical sales process improvements

  • Suggests modifications to account strategies to optimize performance.

Communication & Influence:

  • Engages and influences clinicians, KOLs, and institutional decision-makers.
  • Communicates

    clinical and technical information

    effectively during presentations and negotiations.
  • Builds strong partnerships with customers and vendors for long-term business success.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree

    in

    Science, Physiotherapy, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy

    , or a related field.
  • MBA

    preferred.
  • 2–5 years of sales experience

    in

    medical devices, physiotherapy solutions, neurorehabilitation, or pharmaceutical MNCs

    .
  • Strong knowledge of

    sales techniques, territory management, and customer engagement

    .
  • Excellent

    communication, negotiation, and relationship-building

    skills.
  • Ability to understand

    clinical workflows

    and articulate

    clinical and commercial value propositions

    effectively.
  • Proficiency in

    CRM tools and MS Office suite

    .
  • Willingness to travel extensively

    within assigned territory.
