School Nurse

Key Responsibilities:

– Provide immediate first aid and medical assistance to students and staff in case of illness or injury

– Maintain and update student health records, including immunization and medical history

– Develop and implement health programs as per school policies and international standards

– Administer prescribed medications and monitor students with chronic conditions (asthma, diabetes, allergies, etc.)

– Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare professionals for student well-being

– Conduct regular health screenings and preventive care sessions

– Educate students and staff on health, hygiene, and safety practices

– Ensure compliance with local health regulations and school guidelines

– Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate with external healthcare providers when needed

– Maintain the medical supplies inventory and ensure proper sanitation of the school clinic

Eligibility:

– Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution

– Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license

– 2–3 years of experience in school/pediatric/clinical settings

– Knowledge of child and adolescent health, first aid, and emergency care

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Mandatory Qualifications:

– CPR and First Aid Certification

– Experience handling medical emergencies and crisis situations

– Ability to maintain digital health records

– Ability to educate students on health and wellness topics
