Role Purpose and Responsibilities

• The Bursar ensures efficient functioning of administrative departments and management of support staff to maintain optimal school facilities.
• Key responsibilities include overseeing property maintenance, managing daily operations, ensuring timely repairs, and supervising major renovations.
• The role involves communication with parents regarding transport, managing transport operations, and ensuring student safety during transit.
• Canteen management includes maintaining food quality, hygiene compliance, and efficient waste management.
• The Bursar also oversees event management, procurement processes, office compliance, vendor negotiations, housekeeping, and maintenance of safety and security protocols.

Challenges and Interactions

• The role requires flexibility to adapt to daily operational needs and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Regular interactions occur with the administration team, class teachers, contractors, and promoters to address operational issues and review services.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a graduation degree and 5-7 years of relevant administrative experience in a reputable school is required.
