Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Scala / Akka Developer

to join the Core Banking Base Development and Professional Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering

microservices-based solutions

using Scala and the Akka framework. This position contributes to

NextGen transformation initiatives

and client-focused professional services projects.Job Locations

Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Trivandrum

Experience Range

4 to 8 years

Must-Have Skills & Experience

Core Programming

4–8 years of hands-on experience in Scala development
Strong expertise with the Akka Framework, including Akka Streams
Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD)

Microservices Architecture

Experience in designing and developing microservices
Familiarity with event-driven microservices architectures
Working knowledge of gRPC and Protocol Buffers

DevOps & Infrastructure

Hands-on experience with Docker containers
Experience working with Kubernetes
Familiarity with cloud-native application concepts

Tools & Platforms

Practical experience using Jira, Confluence
Basic knowledge of Ansible, Terraform
Good understanding of cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and their IaaS, PaaS, SaaS offerings

Scripting & Automation

Knowledge of Batch, Bash scripting

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving ability
Clear and effective communication skills
