Required Skills & Qualifications

Backend Development :

• Expert-level proficiency in Scala with strong hands-on experience building scalable, fault-tolerant backend systems.
• Deep knowledge of SQL and practical experience in Spring Boot or Python for developing performant APIs and data services.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures with a focus on clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Strong exposure to Kubernetes for deploying, scaling, and managing distributed applications.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native automation tools (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Solid understanding of infrastructure as code, container orchestration, and DevOps best practices.
  

Data Engineering

• Proficiency in Snowflake and PostgreSQL, including schema design, optimization, and data performance tuning.
• Deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data modelling, and real-time data integration.
• Ability to optimize query performance and manage large-scale data workloads efficiently.

• Experience troubleshooting complex production issues across distributed data and backend systems.
