SAP Techno-Functional Consultant – WM/EWM & OOP ABAP - APAC Region

About the Role:

We are urgently seeking a skilled Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Warehouse Management (WM)/Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Object-Oriented ABAP (OOP ABAP) to join our dynamic SAP team for APAC Region. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business processes and technical solutions, driving innovation through effective system customization, configuration, and technical development.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Independently configure and implement SAP WM or EWM modules, addressing both standard and custom business requirements.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain ABAP programs using Object-Oriented ABAP, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to map requirements, design functional specifications, and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Design and develop enhancements, user exits, BADI implementations, and custom reports as per business needs.
• Execute complex programming tasks and ensure seamless integration with SAP core modules like SD and MM.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for warehouse-related SAP support issues, ensuring timely troubleshooting and resolution.
• Participate in full lifecycle SAP implementations including blueprinting, realization, testing, deployment, and support.
• Analyze existing warehouse processes and systems to recommend and implement improvements through automation and process efficiency.
• Create system documentation, functional/technical specifications, test scripts, and user manuals.
• Provide training and support to end-users and business analysts.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs and KPIs related to SAP incident and change management processes.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience

  in SAP WM/EWM module in techno-functional roles.
• Proven expertise in

  Object-Oriented ABAP

  development and

  Dialog Programming

  .
• Strong understanding of

  SAP integration technologies

  , including

  ALE

  ,

  EDI

  , and

  IDocs

  for both centralized and decentralized models.
• Experience working with

  BAPI

  ,

  RFC

  , and

  Web Services

  for internal and external system integrations.
• Exposure to

  SAP modules SD, MM

  , and their integration with WM/EWM is highly desirable.
• SAP certification in WM/EWM or related modules will be a strong plus.
• Experience or familiarity with

  SAP Mobility solutions (e.g., Mobisys)

  is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex business and system problems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
