Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Monitor and manage SAP support ticket queues (ServiceNow / Remedy / Jira or equivalent).
Triage, categorize, and assign incidents or service requests to appropriate teams.
Provide L1 support for Application Incidents (i.e. solving basic issues depending on the skillset)
Route the tickets to the right IT business applications queues basis the information on incident
Connect with the users for maintaining the right level of information in the tickets
Maintain detailed documentation for incident handling and ticket resolution workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including BASIS, Security, Functional, and Technical teams.
Contribute to process improvements and knowledge base creation.
Support basic SAP functionality queries and provide user guidance on standard transactions.

Preferred candidate profile

3- 4 years of experience in SAP support roles (L1/L2), ideally in a shared services or global support model.
Familiarity with SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, or SF (exposure to any is acceptable).
Strong understanding of ITSM tools like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or Jira.
Knowledge of ticket lifecycle, SLA management, and incident prioritization.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Basic understanding of SAP system architecture and functional processes.
Good communication skills is a must
