Job Description

Role & responsibilities We are looking for a skilled and proactive SAP Support Consultant with working knowledge of PP, FICO, MM, and SD modules to provide onsite support for our clients SAP S/4HANA landscape. The consultant will be responsible for handling user queries, incident resolution, minor enhancements, and ensuring continuity of business operations in a live SAP S/4HANA environment Key Responsibilities: Functional Module Support: Provide basic support and escalation triage for: PP module. MM: Material master integration, inventory management, procurement cycle issues SD: Sales order demand integration, delivery blocking issues FICO: Costing and settlement issues, GR/IR discrepancies, account assignment errors Identify integration issues and work with respective module experts for resolution. 3. Incident & Service Request Management: Handle incident tickets, service requests, and change requests within defined SLAs. Document issues, resolutions, and system behaviour using the clients ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy). Assist with root cause analysis and proactively recommend fixes to avoid future issues. 4. User Training & Stakeholder Support: Act as the first line of support for business users in Production, Planning, Inventory, Sales, and Finance departments. Conduct short training and knowledge transfer sessions for end users when required. 5. Minor Enhancements & Testing: Assist with testing in QAS environment and validation of transports to Production. Support data corrections and mass processing tools like LSMW, LTMC (where relevant). 6. System Monitoring & Housekeeping: Monitor scheduled jobs and logs for MRP, Order Settlement, and Backflush jobs. Support period-end activities for Production and Inventory Management. Required Skills & Qualifications: Good exposure to PP,FICO, MM, and SD modules and knowledge of integration touchpoints. Experience in incident management , change requests , and user support . Ability to work independently at the client site and interact with business users and IT teams effectively. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Soft Skills: Proactive and self-driven attitude Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities Preferred candidate profile
