SAP Record To Report (R2R)

Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable SAP Record to Report (RTR) Consultant to join our global project team. The successful candidate will be integral to managing support tickets, driving system enhancements, and ensuring the smooth operation of our SAP RTR processes.

• SAP FI/CO certified candidate is preferred.
• At least 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO (/SAP R2R processes).
• Asset Management
• Strong configuration and support experience in General Ledger (GL), New GL, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cost Centre Accounting (CCA),
• RICEF
• Month End / Year End closing
• Bank Accounting / Bank Integration
• Data Medium Exchange (DME) SETUP and configuration
• Depreciation Method
• Financial closure activities such as account reconciliations, journal entries, taxes and financial reporting.
• Develop functional specifications for reports, forms, interfaces, and workflows.
• In depth understanding of Business Process relating to SAP Finance, Controlling and integration with SD & MM modules
• Collaborate with finance teams to streamline RTR processes and increase data accuracy.
• Develop and execute data migration strategies for transitioning financial data from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Hands-on experience in handling Change Requests and Incident management within the R2R processes.
• Successful in Project Integration of varying sizes and delivering projects within client expectations, on time and within budget through improved productivity, performance, and cost control.
• Oversee the testing of R2R processes, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes.
• Support and maintaining existing interfaces / third party integrations

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proven experience in designing, configuring, and optimizing financial processes within SAP.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• SAP certification in Financial Accounting (FI) or related modules is a plus.
• Experience with data migration tools and techniques in SAP environments is preferred.
