Role : SAP PS Consultant (58 Years Experience) Location : Trichy, Tamil Nadu, India Industry : Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Utilities Employment Type : Full-time Language Requirements : Fluency in English Travel : Flexibility to travel abroad for project needs Role Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP PS Consultant with 5 to 8 years of expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and support of the SAP Project Systems module, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules and alignment with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Implementation : Lead the design and configuration of SAP PS modules, including Project Definition, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Budgeting, Scheduling, and Milestone Billing. Develop and maintain SAP PS master data, such as project profiles and WBS elements. Integration & Collaboration Ensure seamless integration of SAP PS with other SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, HCM). Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business users, technical teams, and other consultants, to deliver integrated solutions. Functional Expertise & Problem Solving Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for SAP PS solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve SAP PS issues and errors. Provide expert guidance and training to end-users on SAP PS functionalities. Project Management Manage project phases, including requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, training, cutover data collection from business, perform migration activities, and provide go-live support. Documentation & Training Develop comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and end-user manuals. Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure effective system adoption. Continuous Improvement Provide post-implementation support and recommend enhancements to optimize system performance and meet evolving business needs. Qualifications Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience : 58 years of hands-on experience in SAP PS, with at least 2 full-cycle implementations and support. Technical Skills Strong understanding of SAP PS modules and functionalities. Experience with SAP PS integration with other SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, HCM). Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and its impact on PS functionalities. Additional Skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to travel as needed. Preferred Qualifications Certifications : SAP PS certification is a plus. Additional Experience Experience with SAP Investment Management module. Knowledge of SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) for custom developments. (ref:hirist.tech)
