Application Developer – SAP HCM Payroll

A typical day in this role involves analyzing business needs, developing scalable solutions, providing support and enhancements to existing applications, and ensuring optimal performance and usability. You will also contribute as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), mentor team members, and stay updated on the latest SAP and industry best practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Serve as a

  Subject Matter Expert (SME)

  for

  SAP HCM Payroll

• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Lead and guide the team in making informed technical and functional decisions.
• Provide end-to-end support for payroll processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Design, develop, and configure applications to enhance payroll functionality and integrate with other business systems.
• Facilitate

  knowledge-sharing sessions

  to strengthen team capabilities.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring the timely delivery of application features and enhancements.
• Support production issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement long-term solutions.

Professional & Technical Skills

Must Have:

• Strong expertise in

  SAP HCM Payroll

  with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience.
• Solid understanding of payroll business processes and statutory compliance.
• Experience in configuring and supporting payroll solutions for large-scale organizations.
• Knowledge of application development methodologies and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good to Have:

• Exposure to

  SAP SuccessFactors

  .
• Experience with payroll system integration with other HR and business applications.
• Familiarity with reporting and data management tools.
• Ability to work in Agile/DevOps environments.
