SAP Functional Consultant

Job Description:

The SAP Functional Consultant – Service will be responsible for supporting, enhancing, and delivering SAP ECC Service solutions. This role involves close collaboration with business users and IT teams to ensure efficient Service processes, system integration, and high-quality SAP implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand Service business processes and translate business requirements into SAP functional solutions.
• Configure and support SAP ECC PM (Plant Maintenance) and CS (Customer Service) modules.
• Support and enhance Service-related SAP processes including Service Orders, Return & Repair Orders, Service Contracts, and Notifications.
• Prepare functional specifications for technical (ABAP) development.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing of SAP changes.
• Manage system changes through development, testing, and production environments following change management procedures.
• Ensure stability and integrity of SAP ECC Service processes.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and global IT teams (onshore/offshore).
• Participate in global projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain system documentation aligned with business processes.
• Report progress and status of ongoing support and project activities.

Required Skills & Experience:

Education & Experience:

• Graduate with 5+ years of experience in a Service-oriented organization.
• Hands-on experience in SAP ECC PM & CS module implementation/support

SAP Functional Skills:

• Strong configuration knowledge of SAP PM and CS modules.
• Good understanding of integration with SD, MM, and FI modules.
• Experience with Service processes such as:

○ Service Orders,

○ Return & Repair Orders,

○ Service Contracts,

○ Notifications,

○ Field Service & In-House Repairs.

• Knowledge of Service master data:

○ Materials,

○ Equipment,

○ BOM,

○ Task Lists,

○ Warranties,

○ Service products.

Technical Knowledge (Preferred):

• Basic understanding of ABAP programming.
• Exposure to SAP HANA platform.
• Experience with Service subcontracting processes (optional).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
