SAP FICO Consultant - AMS Module

Description

• Experienced SAP FICO HANA Support Consultant to join our AMS (Application Management Support) team.
• The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Finance and Controlling modules in an SAP S/4HANA environment, with expertise in configuration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of financial processes.
• The consultant will be responsible for resolving day-to-day support issues, handling change requests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Provide AMS support for SAP FICO modules, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted financial operations.
• Analyze, investigate, and resolve incidents, service requests, and change requests within defined SLAs.
• Troubleshoot issues related to GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Controlling (CO).
• Support business users during month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Perform configuration and enhancements in SAP FICO as per evolving business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SD, MM, PP, HR, ABAP) to resolve integrated process issues.
• Handle integration points between FI and other modules (especially SD/MM).
• Support and maintain interfaces with external systems such as banks, tax systems, and payment gateways.
• Create and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, and user training manuals.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and correction in the HANA system.
• Collaborate with technical teams to optimize performance, reports, and financial dashboards using HANA features.
• Assist with system upgrades, patches, and enhancement pack implementations.
  

Skills

• Strong functional knowledge in SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling).
• Expertise in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Accounting, and Asset Accounting.
• Good understanding of Controlling (CO) Cost Centers, Internal Orders, Profit Centers, and COPA.
• Hands-on experience with taxation, withholding tax, and GST configuration.
• Solid knowledge of integration with SD, MM, and PP modules.
• Experience with Financial Closing Cockpit, Bank Reconciliation, and Payment Runs.
• Exposure to SAP HANA features, including real-time reporting and analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
