SAP BODS Support Engineer

**Job Title:** SAP BODS Support Engineer **Company:** LTIMindtree **Location:** Pune / Bangalore / Kolkata **Experience Required:** 5 to 9 years **Shift:** 24x7 Rotational (8-hour shifts including weekends) **Notice Period:** Immediate to 15 days ***### **Job Description**LTIMindtree is seeking an experienced SAP BODS Support Engineer to provide end-to-end production support, monitoring, and troubleshooting of BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) environments in a 24x7 rotational shift model. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with SAP BODS, ETL processes, performance tuning, and issue resolution.***### **Key Responsibilities**- Monitor BODS jobs, ETL processes, and data loads to ensure smooth daily operations. - Perform root cause analysis and resolve job failures, performance bottlenecks, and data inconsistencies. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution and enhancement requests. - Schedule, maintain, and optimize BODS jobs in production and non-production systems. - Manage incidents, change requests, and problem tickets within agreed SLAs. - Provide on-call support during weekends/holidays as part of rotational shifts. - Prepare technical documentation and operational runbooks. ***### **Required Skills**- Strong hands-on experience in **SAP BODS (Data Services)** development and support. - Knowledge of **ETL concepts**, job design, debugging, and optimization. - Experience integrating BODS with **SAP ECC, HANA, and non-SAP data sources**. - Understanding of **data warehousing** concepts and **database performance tuning** (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.). - Exposure to version control tools and job scheduling tools. - Good communication skills and ability to work independently in a 24x7 environment. ***### **Preferred Skills**- Familiarity with **SAP BW, S4HANA, or cloud integrations (AWS/Azure)**. - Knowledge of **automation scripts (Unix, Python, or Shell scripting)**. - ITIL certification or experience in a support-based operational environment. ***### **Education**- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. ***
