Job Title: Senior ABAP Developer (S/4HANA)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled ABAP Developer to join our development team. The role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing existing SAP S/4HANA systems, with a focus on performance optimization, developing custom Workflow solutions, improving data retrieval efficiency from databases, and developing complex interfaces. The successful candidate will play an active role in the analysis, design, development, and testing of complex business solutions within the SAP S/4HANA environment.

Job Requirements:

* At least 5 years of proven experience in ABAP development in an SAP S/4HANA environment - mandatory.

* In-depth experience in developing and/or customizing Workflows (SAP Business Workflow), including knowledge of Business Objects, Events, Tasks, and complex processes.

* Proven knowledge and experience in writing efficient and optimized code (Performance Tuning), including:

* Deep understanding of ABAP Open SQL queries and performance.

* Ability to analyze and resolve performance issues using tools such as ABAP Runtime Analysis (SE30) and SQL Trace (ST05).

* Optimization of queries, indexes, and proper use of internal tables.

* Strong familiarity with the HANA Sidecar/Code-to-Data Paradigm and best practices in S/4HANA.

* Proven experience in developing complex Interfaces using:

* IDoc, RFC, BAPI.

* REST/SOAP-based APIs (ABAP RESTful Application Programming - RAP) - significant advantage.

* Experience with OData Services - advantage.

* Experience working with various functional modules such as FI, CO, MM, SD, PP (at least 2-3 modules).

* Ability to technically define business requirements, design solutions, and write Technical Design Documents.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal communication skills.

* High level of English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) - mandatory.

* Experience working in an ABAP OO (Object-Oriented ABAP) environment – advantage.

* Practical knowledge and experience in development on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and/or SAP HANA Cloud - significant advantage.

* Familiarity with Fiori/UI5 development – advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

* Developing, testing, and maintaining advanced ABAP solutions in the SAP S/4HANA environment.

* Optimizing and improving code performance and existing queries, leveraging SAP HANA capabilities.

* Designing and developing complex SAP Workflow processes.

* Developing and maintaining interfaces between SAP systems and external systems.

* Supporting troubleshooting and system issues.

* Working with functional analysts and business stakeholders to understand needs.

* Writing comprehensive technical documentation for developments.
