Role Overview

The Salesforce Functional Analyst Lead / Architect is responsible for driving the strategic design, architecture, and implementation of Salesforce solutions that align with business goals. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical execution—leading requirements gathering, translating them into scalable Salesforce designs, and guiding development teams through delivery. The position requires a deep understanding of Salesforce capabilities, strong business acumen, and leadership skills to ensure the platform delivers maximum value.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

• Serve as the

  primary architect

  for Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and other Salesforce products.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce architectures that align with best practices.
• Ensure system integrations, data flows, and configurations meet both current and future business needs.
• Oversee the creation of architecture diagrams, solution blueprints, and technical documentation.

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

• Partner with stakeholders to

  capture, clarify, and document

  business requirements.
• Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and process-mapping exercises.
• Translate business requirements into

  functional specifications

  for Salesforce configurations and customizations.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 8+ years

  of experience in Salesforce-related roles, including at least

  3 years

  in a lead or architect position.
• Proven expertise in

  Sales Cloud, Service Cloud

  , and at least one other Salesforce product (e.g., Experience Cloud, CPQ, Marketing Cloud).
• Strong

  business analysis

  skills—experience mapping business processes and designing CRM workflows.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce

  security model, sharing rules, and permission sets

  .
• Experience with

  data migration, system integration

  , and APIs (REST/SOAP).
• Strong understanding of

  Salesforce limits, governor rules, and performance optimization

  .
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in

  Agile/Scrum

  delivery models.
