Salesforce CPQ Developer - Apex/Visual Force

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of overall Salesforce development experience.
• 3+ years of dedicated hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ.
• Strong understanding of core CPQ functionalities, including :
• Bundle Configuration : Designing and implementing complex product bundles.
• CPQ Product Rules : Creating and managing rules for product selection and validation.
• Option Constraints : Defining dependencies and restrictions for product options.
• Price Rules : Configuring advanced pricing logic, including discounts, markups, and dynamic pricing.
• Proficiency in Salesforce declarative configuration (Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules).
• Experience with Salesforce Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) is a plus, for extending CPQ functionalities.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex CPQ issues and optimize solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts and collaborate with :
• Design, develop, configure, and implement Salesforce CPQ solutions based on business requirements.
• Configure complex product bundles, product rules, option constraints, and price rules within Salesforce CPQ.
• Develop and maintain custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and LWC to extend CPQ functionalities when declarative options are not sufficient.
• Collaborate with business analysts, sales operations, and other teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective CPQ solutions.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all CPQ implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce CPQ configuration, data, and integrations.
• Manage CPQ data, including product, pricing, and quote data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Stay updated with new Salesforce CPQ features and releases, assessing their impact and recommending adoption where beneficial.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards for CPQ development.
• Prepare technical documentation for CPQ configurations, customizations, and integrations.
  

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Salesforce CPQ Specialist Superbadge or Salesforce CPQ Certification is highly desirable.
