Sales & Service Engineer

Job Description: As a Service Engineer in the laser industry, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laser machines and equipment at client sites. Your role will involve working closely with customers to ensure the optimum performance of the equipment. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise, a customer service orientation, and a problem-solving mindset. Key Responsibilities: - Installing, configuring, and commissioning various types of laser machines at customer sites. - Conducting preventive maintenance and servicing of laser equipment to maintain optimal performance. - Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues related to mechanical, electrical, and software systems. - Providing remote and on-site technical support to customers and ensuring timely issue resolution. - Delivering customer training on machine operation, safety, and maintenance. - Creating service reports, documentation, and maintaining service records. - Collaborating with the technical team and manufacturers for complex problem resolution. - Ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies during service tasks. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering. - Minimum 1-5 years of experience in machine servicing, preferably in the laser or industrial automation sector. - Proficiency in laser technology (fiber, CO, or diode lasers) and CNC systems. - Ability to interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics. - Strong troubleshooting skills for PLCs, drives, and control systems (preferred). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction. - Availability to travel frequently to client locations.
