Job Description

As an IT Procurement Engineer at GS-IT, your main responsibility will be to source competitive pricing for IT products and services from Dubai-based vendors. You will be required to have a strong knowledge of IT hardware, software, networking, and infrastructure solutions. Your duties will include obtaining and negotiating pricing for IT products from vendors in Dubai, managing vendor relationships and procurement processes, and staying updated on the latest IT hardware, software, and infrastructure solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring cost-effective procurement practices and maintaining strong vendor relationships. To excel in this role, you should have at least 2-5 years of experience in IT Sales or Procurement, along with a solid understanding of servers, storage, networking, and security solutions. Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills are essential, and familiarity with procurement tools/ERP systems would be a plus.
