Job Description

Job Title: Sales & Reservation Executive Location: Pune, Maharashtra Job Summary: This role involves direct interaction with customers to understand their travel needs, provide suitable options, handle bookings efficiently, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and results-oriented individual with excellent communication and sales skills, a strong understanding of the travel industry, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Reservations and Booking Management: - Handle all reservation requests accurately and efficiently, utilizing the company's booking systems. - Confirm bookings, process payments, and issue necessary travel documents (e.g., tickets, vouchers, itineraries). - Manage and modify existing reservations, including cancellations and amendments, in accordance with company policies. - Ensure accuracy of all reservation details and passenger information. - Liaise with suppliers (e.g., airlines, hotels, tour operators) to confirm availability and resolve any booking-related issues. - Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire booking process and beyond. - Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner. - Offer pre-trip assistance and information to clients. - Maintain a positive and helpful attitude towards customers and colleagues. - Gather customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in products and services. - Maintain accurate sales and reservation records. - Prepare sales reports and forecasts as required. - Assist with general administrative duties as needed. - Stay updated on company policies, procedures, and product knowledge. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Tourism Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). - Proven experience in sales and/or reservations, preferably within the travel industry (e.g., travel agency, tour operator, airline, hotel). - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. - Strong sales and customer service orientation with a proven track record of achieving targets. - Proficiency in using reservation systems and relevant software. - Good geographical knowledge and understanding of popular travel destinations. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail. - Ability to handle pressure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Fluency in English - Basic computer skills (MS Office Suite). Working Conditions: - May involve working in shifts, including weekends and holidays, depending on operational needs. - Regular interaction with customers via phone, email, and in person. - Office-based environment.
