Job Description

Role Overview: As a Global SOPS Contract Specialist at Salesforce Finance and the Revenue Operations Team, you will provide the highest level of internal support and guidance for Account Executives within the Global SMB businesses. Your role will involve dealing with deal structure questions, quote support, contract support, ACV calculations, account/customer org support, and ensuring quotes comply with revenue & company policy. You must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess problem-solving and decision-making skills to excel in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Provide superior internal support and guidance for Account Executives, including deal structure questions, order processing, ensuring compliance with revenue & company policy, and pre-quote conversion support. - Collaborate with Sales, Rev Recognition, and Legal teams on contract issues, providing suggestions and assistance for contract negotiation to ensure proper revenue recognition. - Create and modify quotes as necessary and ensure compliance with company policies and SOX compliance. - Train Sales teams, especially less experienced AEs, and facilitate cross-training within the team. - Contribute ideas and innovations to enhance existing systems, work processes, and procedures. - Create and update internal departmental Policies and participate in projects involving technical and financial concepts, providing recommendations. - Review contract and order forms for completeness, accuracy, and conformance to Salesforce.com Sales Order Acceptance policy. - Work with Sales and Collections to resolve customer billing investigations and disputes. - Share best practices with team members to enhance support quality and efficiency, contributing to the knowledge base. - Establish strong relationships with internal resources such as Sales, Renewals, Customer Support Managers, Legal, and more. Qualifications Required: - 2+ years of sales operations or order management experience. - Bilingual proficiency in English & Japanese. - Strong research and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate and debate difficult issues. - Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, delivering accuracy while managing deadlines with adaptability. - Understanding of broader business and financial issues, ability to juggle multiple projects, work with deadlines, and thrive in a team environment. - Extreme attention to detail and the ability to articulate case resolutions and actions required by Account Executives clearly. - Experience with Salesforce is a plus. - Ability to work independently and hold a degree or equivalent relevant experience.
